Haramain Amber Oud Spray...

Buen aroma, buena fijación y proyección
First, this Amber Oud Tobacco took FOREVER to arrive compared to other perfumes that I’ve ordered from various middle eastern perfume houses. Ordered on 10/16, delivery was supposed to be 11/7, then was updated to 11/27 without shipping by 11/15. I cancelled the order but it arrived today 11/19. So, -1 star for shipping. The box and bottle are comparable to other ME perfumes, presentation and quality is over the top exquisite. Upon first spraying, I thought I would like this scent and that it wouldn’t need to macerate out of the box. It is similar to TV but definitely not a dupe, not as complex or refined. Notes of clove, then vanilla and hint of pipe tobacco (no Oud). But there is something off-putting or cloying about this. I sprayed 2 sprays on my wrist and have been wearing it for about an hour and I now want to wash it off. I will try only one spray, then layering, then macerating but if those attempts fail then this is a big no for me.
First- packaging goes way too hard for a cheapie. Appreciate the box, as well as the bottle- atomizer kinda sucks though. For what you pay it’s a great scent. It’s not tobacco vanielle, but it’s own clove and tobacco thing. Opening is clove, dry down is still clove but that’s where it gets vanilla and tobacco notes. Those notes just don’t read to me as a clone of the Tom Ford perfume. This scent feels like wearing a bath and body works candle, and I’m kinda down for that.Would say it’s very “unisex” in my opinion- it doesn’t register as either to me, and that might kind of aid in the whole candle vibe of this.I wouldn’t wear this often- probably gonna use it when things need to feel “festive,” as I’m not gonna blast the family with versace eros at thanksgiving- and this scent would be fun and safe for such an occasion.I’ve heard people complain of an over-ripe fruit note that comes out as the perfume ages. Not my experience so far, but will update if the scent becomes unpleasant. As of now, I dig it and will wear it to festive events.
At the momento you spray this one it is very pleasent, although is not declared I feel a lot the note of honey which I love but that is only at the opening and couple of minutes after applying it, as it dries down the smell moves towards the syle of V&R Spicebomb Extreme IMO, I have never smelled TF TV for for me is going to be 4 starts because eventhough smells good, at the dry down is not my favority.
smells beautiful mum loves it
